The DEPT 56 “Christmas in the City” – THE GRAND HOTEL is a brand new porcelain Christmas village piece from Department 56. This multicolored building, measuring 6.25 inches in length and 8.5 inches in height, is part of the Christmas in the City collection and features an American style with a painted finish. The retired item, manufactured in 2015, depicts a grand hotel and is designed for any room during the holiday season. Made in China, this collectible piece adds charm to any village display. This is a brand-new NRFB collector piece. The piece has never been removed from the box. I’ve had experience, as well as many of experienced collectors, in the past of taking a piece out of the Styrofoam and it was in there so tight that the Styrofoam either cracked or broke off.
