The DEPT 56 “Christmas in the City” FRANGO’S FOR YOU & I was a special edition only offered thru Marshall Field’s Department Stores from Department 56. This multicolor porcelain village piece, featuring a painted finish, is part of the Christmas in the City collection and was manufactured in 2004. This American-themed Christmas village, with a unique design and original packaging, is a must-have for collectors of holiday and seasonal decor. This is a brand-new NRFB collector piece. The piece has never been removed from the box. I’ve had experience, as well as many of experienced collectors, in the past of taking a piece out of the Styrofoam and it was in there so tight that the Styrofoam either cracked or broke off. I hope you can understand why all of my pictures are taken this way. For those interested, my home is smoke-free and pet-free.
Department 56 Brooklyn Bridge from the highly sought-after Christmas in the City / Historical Landmark Series – a rare, retired piece that’s hard to find in this condition. Box is intact and in excellent condition.
The house is complete. Comes with original box, sleeve, new old stock light cord as well. I noticed no chips aside from possibly a paint imperfection inside the house. See the close up of inside the window where the piano hangs. Nothing can touch that spot from the outside so I imagine it was done when made. This is by far the best example I’ve seen in a while. Well taken care of piece. The Dept 56 Christmas In The City Series “Hammerstein Piano Co” 799941 is a rare and complete collectible from 2008. This asymmetrical ceramic and porcelain piece features an interior subject suitable for Christmas decor. Part of the Christmas in the City collection by Department 56, this American-themed village house is painted and weighs 5 lbs. Complete with its original packaging, this retired piece is a sought-after addition for holiday enthusiasts.
