The DEPT 56 “Christmas In The City” – SHOPPING ON PARK AVENUE #4056629 is a brand new porcelain Christmas Village piece from Department 56. This multicolor village piece represents city life during the late 20th century and is part of the “Christmas in the City” collection. Standing at 2.75 inches tall, this painted American-themed piece is a retired original from 2017, perfect for any room during the holiday season. Made in China, this collectible item comes in a box packaging. This is a brand-new NRFB collector piece. The piece has never been removed from the box. I’ve had experience, as well as many of experienced collectors, in the past of taking a piece out of the Styrofoam and it was in there so tight that the Styrofoam either cracked or broke off. I hope you can understand why all of my pictures are taken this way. For those interested, my home is smoke-free and pet-free.

Department 56 Christmas In The City Series. “Hensly Cadillac & Buick”. This retired collectible piece features a detailed brick-facade dealership. Inside the showroom window, you can see a replica of a. 1932 Cadillac 355B Cabriolet. Includes an interior scene visible through the front window and is officially licensed by GM. Sleeve has gotten wet and has stains on inside of it. Items are from the estate of my brother. He was a General Motors master auto mechanic for over 60 years. He worked for several General Motors New Car Dealerships from 1962 to 1988 in Orange County, CA. He owned his own auto repair shop in Orange, CA. And then in Garden City, ID. From 1993 until his death in June 2025 at age 85. He collected coins, stamps, automobile memorabilia, classic automobiles that he restored, Car Parts for GM Cars, Plastic Model car kits, Diecast Model Cars, Model Trains, Hallmark Ornaments, and other things. I do my best to describe items as accurate as possible.

When plugged in, lighted first as green… Unplugged it, then re plugged… Red light came on… Both shown in our photos.. No little “power pack” came with this to change lights easily.
