Need more info, individual photos, ideas, more? Welcome to “Snowy Curve”. Where it’s Christmas everyday! This hand crafted display is made up of TWO 14×12 sections plus one stackable curved piece. The display measures a total of 28″ wide x 12″ deep or 42 wide if the third curved piece is displayed unstacked. Each section is made to fit together with others for many arrangement combinations and more pieces may be added to create custom sizes. See our other auctions. Holds approximately 4-8 buildings with room for other scenes and accessories. We designed this display to look more realistic than many all-white displays. Rock walls, cobblestone pathways, etc. Are allowed to show through the snow for a more natural look. Rock walls are snow dappled. Bushes, vines, walkways, etc. Are snow dappled as well. There are nice details such as a textured top for a more realistic look, vines growing up the stone walls, cobblestone sidewalks, and curved staircases. Add on as many sections as you want to achieve the size and shape you need. The last photo in the series shows the display with many of the buildings and accessories removed so you can better see the beautiful details of this display. This display is made in different levels to make your village more visually interesting. The “back” side of each section is painted and sculpted like the front so you may turn in any direction or separate to suit your needs. The tops are textured and painted for a more realistic look. There is NO rolled paper grass used. Made of dense foam, not styro-foam, it is lightweight and easily displayed and moved, but durable. Many other displays are made using sheets of home insulation construction foam glued together. Mine are not and therefore don’t have the lines of joint showing on the sides that many others have. Because it is made in modular squares, it is easily stored when not in use. Holes will be drilled for cords if desired (upon request). Dept 56 Lemax Display Platform Rockefeller Center! Christmas in the City

Dept 56 Displays by Kathy. “Where Details are Everything”. Hi, I make custom display platforms for Dept 56 and Lemax villages. If you are like me your collection keeps getting bigger every year. I ran out of room and needed to find a better way to display my cute Dept 56 Halloween village. I started to create and design platforms 10 years ago. I just love to see the villages come to life with everything all lit up and moving. Each design is my own and is copyrighted. This is a pre-order! Rockefeller Center is a custom design that is for Department 56 Christmas in the City. It is a very large platform made in 3 sections to give you a lot of display area. This will give your village a big city look. It is made in 3 sections that fit together. I sculpt formal block walls with wall caps for all the walls. I then stain them a light gray. The stairs are done in a semi round shape. On the first level is the street that is painted black. It goes all along all 3 sections. Next is the sidewalk. It wraps around both sides and ends at the ice skating rink. The sidewalk measures approx. I stain it a light gray. You’ll be able to put lots of people, shoppers, police, Santa on them. The buildings sit directly on the sidewalk. You can easily place street lights along them for a down town look. I had fun setting it all up. The middle section is the focal point of this display. I’ve created the statue of Prometheus sitting in the beautiful fountain. On each side of the fountain I’ve made the water falling into the small fountain. The look is close to N. But is only my rendition of it. The ice skating rink is painted a light blue. I use Water Effects for a wet look. The upper level has lots of room for your city buildings. Then on each right and left ends I’ve placed a raised area that is 8″ x 10″ that you can showcase a large building! Platform sits on 2 wide cut legs – this area under the platform is where you can hide your adapters and wires. I drill holes upon request. Make sure you let me know at check out if you want me to drill the holes. Rock Center footprint is: 23″ deep x 69″ in length x 8 high. Street is 3 wide. Sidewalks are 2 1/2 wide. Dept 56, Lemax Display Platform! Crystal Cave For Halloween! Slimey Swamp

Hi, I make custom display platforms to fit the scale of Department 56 and Lemax villages. If you are like me your collection keeps getting bigger every year. I ran out of room and needed to find a better way to display my cute village. So I started to make platform bases about 9 years ago. I just love to see everything come to life with everything all lit up. Each design is my own and is protected by copyrights. THIS IS A PRE ORDER! PLEASE ALLOW 1-2 WEEKS FOR CONSTRUCTION! This is a new spooky look for the Crystal Cave! It’s perfect for your grave yard and little monsters to display! Can you see the creature of the black lagoon in this cave? Please send me a message if you have questions about making it another size to fit your space. This is a large platform and will show off your Halloween village. It is made in 2 sections that fit together. The walls of the cave are all done with tempered glass. This is the same glass that is used in windshields. It is very thick and does not cut like regular glass does. It is very reflective and gives it the look of crystals. I think it looks like a beautiful green geode! I’ve painted the bottom of the cave in green slime glossy paint, dark brown sod and added some oak branches. Along the side wall are 2 large spiders who have also been slimmed! Framing the entrance of the cave are 2 oak trees! To really show off the crystals I build in 2 clear spot lights in the ceiling of the cave. They are the new LED White spot lights that are very bright! On top of the cave section is a large area for you to create a village with trick or treat kids going from house to house or a commercial strip with some pedestrians. This section also has a triple green slim waterfall cascading down into the swamp. I placed many river rocks and moss all along each level. On the section to the right, I’ve continued the slim green swamp. I added many details which include tiny river rocks, green, brown and orange lechin, silk plants and for stepping stones I’ve added oak stepping stones. Leading you to the upper section are stairs that are painted dark dark brown with slime. The upper section on the right side has lots of room for 2 large buildings and lots of accessories. The entire platform is covered with medium brown sod. I only use the best products. You will be able to easily stick pins into it. I build all of my platforms on 2 wide cut legs. Then I drill holes (1) for the wires to drop down in. This space under the platform is where you can hide the adapters and wires. My platforms are very light and weight 6 – 8 pounds. Where Details are Everything! Hi, I make custom display platforms to fit the scale of Dept 56 and Lemax villages. If you are like me your collection keeps getting bigger every year. I ran out of room and needed to find a better way to display my cute village. So I started to make platform bases about 9 years ago. I just love to see everything come to life with everything all lit up. Each design is my own and is protected. The Plaza is designed for Department 56, Lemax and many other porcelain villages. This is a ONE piece platform! There are no seams to match up. The Plaza features formal block walls with wall caps. There are a total of 8 stairs leading you up to the top level. The first level has the entry into the village. I hand carved the. Entry’s floor with a diamond design, and then stained it. There are 4 stairs. Leading up to the second level. On the second level I drilled 3 one inch holes for your buildings light cords to drop through. Then there are 4 stairs leading up to the top level. I have stained the surface of this platform a light golden brown. You will be able to sprinkle on snow for a Christmas display or for Halloween I’d sprinkle on green sod or shredded leaves. And of course change the trees for the season of the year. This platform is great for your year around villages. It’s easy to change the seasons with The Plaza design! You’ll be amazed at how many buildings this holds! I used 12 buildings in the Christmas village and still had lots of room for accessories. I use construction quality styro foam that is very light weight and is not toxic. Beware of other people building platforms with dense foam. Dense foam or florist type foam highly toxic! I also use all water based paints and glue. This is built on 1 1/2 wide cut legs. This space under the platform is where your wires and adapters can be hidden! I drill the holes upon request. The Town Center was designed for Dept 56 Christmas in the City. I wanted this display platform to have a real city feel. I will describe it as best as I can. PLEASE SEND ME A MESSAGE ABOUT DOING THE TOWN CENTER IN RED BRICKS – SEE LAST PICTURE ABOVE! RED BRICKS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS SALE! Please send me a message if you have questions. I can make it to fit your space! This is a large platform. It is made in 3 sections that fit together. It has formal block walls with wall caps. The stairs are all done in a round shape. I brushed them with resin to give them a slippery look. The lower level has sidewalks and roads. The sidewalks follow the road all the way around to the other end. I put snow piles along the edges for a snowy look. The roads have curbs. I brushed the roads with resin to give them a black ice look. There is a lot of room to show off your pedestrians, cars, street signs etc. The ice skating rink is the central focus of the display. It is done with light blue and white, I use resin for the wet look. I have outlined it with a low wall that is painted gray. The upper area has alot of room for you commercial buildings. I placed a 3rd level in each corner that measures 12″ X 7″. This will hold a large building. I carved in stairs leading up to each one. Platform sits on wide cut legs. This hidden section gives you a nice place to hide adapters. I have drilled holes on the main level for your cords to drop down into. You can easily drape the cords over the back on the upper levels. The right and left areas measure approximately 23″ X 10″ and 23″ X 17″. The ice skating rink is a 10 oval. Streets are 3 wide. Sidewalks are 2 1/2 wide.
