Department 56 Christmas In The City collection is one of the most popular Dept 56 Christmas villages. Collector’s Edition, Hand Numbered Limited Edition of 7,000 pieces. This piece is #4,068 / 7,000. Stately crafted uptown ballroom featuring animated couples dancing on the outside balcony (adapter included). Ornamental lights, trees, two attachments and chimney are fragile. This item was part of a dealer’s display and was placed on a black roof shingle in a glass-enclosed cabinet. The electronics was only turned on when a serious customer requested to see the dancers in action. The roof shingle left a few black marks on the underside of the building which can likely be removed with a Goo Gone type dissolvent, if desired. Otherwise, the building is in “like new” condition with fully functional, smooth moving dancers, as designed. We appreciate being contacted for ANY questions, comments or concerns. Our packing team places each collectible box under UV light for 10 minutes per exposed surface, which has been shown to eradicate “germs” on the surface. Up for your consideration is a retired. Department 56 Christmas in the City. #55618 lighted building called “SNOW VILLAGE MUSEUM OF ART”. This very special and stunning building is a 2007 Collectors Surprise piece. These surprise pieces are produced as hand-numbered limited editions in very low. This particular building is number 959 out of 10,000! I love all the details that are in this building but my favorite has to be the carved statue in front. This building measures 8 1/2″ long x 6 1/2″ deep x 7 1/2 tall. It comes in its original styrofoam box and Dept. 56 sleeve which does show some wear and tear. The building itself is in mint condition without any chips or cracks. It does come with the original light cord and bulb. This building is a must for the Department 56 collector! This is the first Casino ever offered by Department 56. Beautifully done with exquisite detail and its Christmas decorations (garland and wreaths included). This is a numbered limited edition of 15,000 total pieces produced. Building is stamped number 13,667 on bottom base. Perfect condition, no chips, flaws, or breaks. This is from my personal collection, only displayed once. This item is considered pre-owned, please review pictures as they are part of the description. Outer sleeve and styrofoam box in condition as shown in pics. Year of production December 2001. In addition to extreme packaging, each item is labeled with fragile, handle with care labels in multiple locations on the box. This was won from a drawing at Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland at Frankenmuth, Michigan during a Department 56 retirement weekend. On May 8, 1886 , Dr. Serving nine drinks per day in its first year, Coca-Cola was a new refreshment in its beginning. Celebrate the holidays with this replica of Jacobs’ Pharmacy in Atlanta, USA where Coca Cola was first served. Many authentic decals adorn the pharmacy including reproduction of authentic vintage Coca Cola poster art and logos, along with festive garlands and bows along the windows. Jacobs’ Pharmacy is a must for your Christmas In The City display. To light this building we include a Department 56 village lighting cord. Hand cast and hand painted porcelain.
