THE Perfect Gift LIMITED EDITION RARE!! For this price you will receive EVERYTHING and in working order!! NOTHING IS MISSING OR BROKEN!!! This is a Retired RARE Building. This item was never displayed by us and is in mint condition. They stated they never had the opportunity to display it eith er. Based on that information, I listed this as new. It is in it’s protective Styrofoam, and Black and Silver commemorative sleeve, also in great condition. The sleeve has a few minor scuff marks from shelf wear. The clear plastic that also protects this item is torn, as I had difficulty taking it out of the box for pictures. We removed it from the box twice; once when we inspected it when we first bought it and once now when I removed it from the box for these pictures and to verify that the light, cord with the on and off switch, and bulb are all working, which they are. The Lantern, which is often missing from other auctions, is also INCLUDED!!! IT WAS LIMITED TO PRODUCTION YEAR 2001 ONLY. This building is a replica of the Architects & Engineers Building where Department 56 was once located at 1200 Second Avenue, in Minneapolis, Minn. It is a beige brick building, where each of the first floor windows shows a display of the products that Department 56 produced at that time. On one side, the window displays are of the Snow Village, the next window is the Snow babies, and the third window is Heritage Village Collection. On another side of the building is a window display of the Reef. On the windows above, are the names of various famous artists, such as Davinci, Pascal, Le Duc, Ictinus, Richardson, Michelangelo, and Wren. See all twelve photos including the small lantern which is packaged in a tiny bag, and inserted in a space in the Styrofoam form that protects the building. There are no cracks or chips on this item. My photos are actual photos of these items and not stock photos. THIS WOULD MAKE A FABULOUS, SPECIAL, GIFT FOR YOU OR YOUR FAVORITE DEPT 56 COLLECTOR. IT WOULD CERTAINLY BE AN UNEXPECTED AND OVER THE TOP GIFT CHOICE! IT IS COMPLETE WITH NO PARTS MISSING!! THIS ITEM COULD BE DISPLAYED ALL YEAR. IT WOULD ALSO BE PERFECT IF YOU ARE TREATING YOURSELF TO A SPECTACULAR GIFT. As with all of my items, it comes from a smoke free home. All items that I sell are inspected to verify that there is no damage and that the electrical items work. I have never had any of my items broken in transit. It is in very good condition no damage at all there are four little crosses that do come off when in the box all four are there with the power cord. This is 4150 of 6,000. The East Harbor Ferry Terminal is a very beautiful piece of architecture in a lovely. Shade of green with lovely Palladian windows with red grille work (an extension of the historical styles), a double front door, and lantern lights mounted on each pillar on the ground floor, the second floor has arched Palladian windows with red grille work and balconies, a large black with green framework dome on the very top, and a black roof. The windows are decorated with beautiful wreaths with large red bows, two red poinsettia plants in front of the pillars at the main double doors, and holly leaves lay across with red plants on the second floor balconies. The year 1983 is engraved in stone slightly below the dome with East Harbor Ferry Terminal shown slightly below. Logo is cast into the mold – a guarantee of authenticity. The Holiday season is just the place for excitement and cheer and the hustle and bustle along city sidewalks. The Christmas in the City series , introduced in 1987, with its lively cities and diverse architecture offers dozens of places to live, shop, work, dine, and enjoy the arts.
