56 Christmas In The City #56.58919. Cathedral Of Saint Paul. It was a limited edition issued and retired in 2001. It stands 11 1/2 inches tall and 11 1/2 inches long and 8 inches wide. I don’t believe it was ever displayed. The building is a replica of the Cathedral of ST. Paul’s in St. It is part of the historical Landmark Series. The light cord is included too! The detail is really nice on this piece and it would be a great addition to your village display. It would stand out in any village. Please check out the pictures! Department 56 Christmas in the City. This piece has the beautiful copper roof that is hard to find. It was only available to dealers at the Dept 56 25th Anniversary celebration in 2001, which I attended. It’s not overstating it to say the lighted cathedral has stunningly beautiful details. Date: Introduced in 2001, retired in 2001. Sizes: 12″ wide and 11 1/5″ wide. Condition: New, never displayed. Only out of the box to take photographs. Comes in its original box and sleeve, which has average shelf wear. One corner has a 3″ tear and another corner of the sleeve has a 3″ tear. Comes from my now-closed gift shop, a non-smoking environment. Very careful packing and fast, friendly customer service guaranteed. This copper domed cathedral, a replica of Cathedral of St. Paul, MN, is part of the 25th Anniversary of D56 and was distributed only at that event. It is simply magnificent and a piece any CIC collector should be proud to own. The lights were tested prior to listing (tested okay). Dept 56 CATHEDRAL OF ST. PAUL ANNIVERSARY EDITION , porcelain, very detailed. Price label still on the box 150.00 retail. Previously owned and well cared for. Complete with original light cord. Natural indent to roof on one corner & fissure on the bottom, in the making shown in close-ups. Overall a real beauty. This piece has the beautiful, more desired… Roof later made in green. Original box sleeve (black) is flimsy thin cardboard and thus worn/torn with tape. Styro molded box looks good, with past cello tape to close up in storage.
