Dept 56 Christmas in the City, Jambalaya Café #56.59265
From Department 56’s Christmas In The City collection. Jambalaya Café has become one of the most sought after buildings in recent years. It’s a three-story, New Orleans-style brick building where French Quarter cuisine is served. Numerous design elements, including intricate ironwork, baskets, support posts, potted tree and sign, are all VERY fragile. It is our opinion that no other building in the entire Department 56 line has this many parts of the building that can easily be damaged. Also it’s our opinion that a significant number of Jambalaya Cafés have been damaged over the years and not many in existence that are in perfect shape. This building has NEVER been removed from the box. Please take care to only handle by the solid porcelain sections of the building. The box is in “almost new” shape with very minor shelf wear. This resulted in “crimping” of some of the edges on the top and bottom of the box. We appreciate being contacted for ANY questions, comments or concerns. Our packing team places each collectible box under UV light for 10 minutes per exposed surface, which has been shown to eradicate “germs” on the surface. Specific virus names cannot be listed here per policy (apparently); however, you know which one we are targeting. This process does not harm your collectible nor change the printing on the box. Please visit our Store for additional Department 56 and Walt Disney Classics Collection (WDCC) collectibles. It’s likely we can find most pieces (especially pre-2000) from these two collectible lines. Please send us your requests. We will list your desired piece and notify you when that occurs. We pride ourselves in giving you and honest assessment of all of the pieces trusted to us for sale. We are mostly a consignment service but take full responsibility for all listings provided in our Store. Best Wishes to everyone during these unique times. Happy Holidays to All!
