Department 56 Christmas In The City collection is one of the most popular Dept 56 Christmas villages. Replica of 22- story triangular building located at 175 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, New York City. Design includes removable wreaths and garland for holiday decorating. MANY RESALE BUILDINGS DO NOT INCLUDE THESE REMOVABLE PIECES – See pics, still in original bag. Early Release to Department 56 retailer, Fortunoff. The building is in PERFECT shape. There are taped tears, see pics, at the bottom of the sleeve, from years of shelf wear. This was a dealer display piece which was kept in a glass-enclosed cabinet for 2 years. Then stored in it’s original box in a climate-controlled environment. Former store owner is liquidating her inventory. We appreciate being contacted for ANY questions, comments or concerns. Our packing team places each collectible box under UV light for 10 minutes per exposed surface, which has been shown to eradicate “germs” on the surface. Specific virus names cannot be listed here per policy (apparently); however, you know which one we are targeting. This process does not harm your collectible nor change the printing on the box.
