It has been stored in my smoke free home since then. There is no damage of any kind on this piece, and only some really minor damage to the sleeve. This piece was introduced in 2002 and retired in 2006. I was asked if the marquee lights worked, and I had not checked them when I took the building out of the box to photograph it, so I got it out again and plugged the lights in. I apologize for the quality of the last two pictures, but as you can plainly see, both of the lights are working, and the marquee lights are either solid-on or blinking, depending on which setting you prefer. I have always believed that you can never have too many people or trees and other landscaping things in your village, and I have collected a large assortment of these over the years. Some are by Department 56, some by LeMax, and some from a variety of other sellers, and they all just added to the display, in my opinion. This is for everyone’s peace of mind.
