Department 56 Christmas In The City (CIC) collection’s “The Singer Building” is part of the Arts and Architecture Series. The original, 47-story, Singer Building which was used as the headquarters for this famous company. Featuring Beaux Arts Architecture, this skyscraper was completed in 1908. Until its demolition in 1968, it was the tallest building in New York at the time. This impressive, 19 1/4, high rise joins its previously released New York City skyline buildings (Empire State, Chrysler, Times Tower, Flatiron) and the newly released, Woolworth Building to provide an impressive skyline to any CIC collection. This building is new in box. Pictures of the building have been provided by photographing one of our employee’s personal collection. Price reduced ONLY through midnight on Saturday night, November 27th. We appreciate being contacted for ANY questions, comments or concerns. Our packing team places each collectible box under UV light for 10 minutes per exposed surface, which has been shown to eradicate “germs” on the surface. Specific virus names cannot be listed here per policy (apparently); however, you know which one we are targeting. This process does not harm your collectible nor change the printing on the box.
