The DEPT 56 “Christmas in the City” – “THE ROXY” building is a brand new collectible porcelain piece that is part of the 21st Century Christmas Village collection by Department 56. This multicolored American-themed building was manufactured in 2011 and features a painted finish, making it a charming addition to any holiday display. The ROXY building is part of the Christmas In The City series, with a nostalgic design that captures the essence of Christmas celebrations in an urban setting. This is a brand-new NRFB collector piece. The piece has never been removed from the box. I’ve had experience, as well as many of experienced collectors, in the past of taking a piece out of the Styrofoam and it was in there so tight that the Styrofoam either cracked or broke off. I hope you can understand why all of my pictures are taken this way. For those interested, my home is smoke-free and pet-free.

From Department 56’s Christmas in the City collection. NEW in box, light cord/bulb and hanging sign never removed from the bags. Intricately detailed tan-brick building in the style synchronous with vaudeville theaters of the early 1900s. This building fits VERY tightly into the Styrofoam box. To remove, sit the box upright on a solid, surface. Gently alternate between the SOLID top portion and the base, very slowly and without excessive pressure to remove the building a small amount at a time. Patience is key when removing this item from its box. Numerous fragile elements include admission sign, hanging lamps, free, 3-D ticket booth sign and stately columns. Please take care to only handle by the solid porcelain sections of the accessory, such as the bottom. Do not hand by columns. Ave we stressed that enough? Removed for inspection and, possible, photos. The box and sleeve are in very good to excellent condition with minor shelf wear. We recently received almost the entire Christmas in the City, Alpine Village, North Pole, Disney Parks Village series and other Dept 56 villages from a former dealer and serious collector who took great pride in her collection. In order to list as many pieces as quickly as possible, we may just show the box/sleeve in the photos. We absolutely promise that all buildings and accessories list are in perfect, working condition with all separate attachments included.
