The DEPT 56 “Christmas in the City” Jade Palace Chinese Restaurant is a beautifully crafted porcelain collectible from the 21st century. Part of the Christmas in the City collection by Department 56, this multicolored village piece features a Chinese-style restaurant with intricate details and a painted finish. This retired original piece comes in its original packaging, perfect for holiday enthusiasts looking to add a unique touch to their Christmas decor. Made in China in 2010, this Christmas village building is a true gem for collectors of festive and seasonal items. This is a brand-new NRFB collector piece. The piece has never been removed from the box. I’ve had experience, as well as many of experienced collectors, in the past of taking a piece out of the Styrofoam and it was in there so tight that the Styrofoam either cracked or broke off. I hope you can understand why all of my pictures are taken this way. For those interested, my home is smoke-free and pet-free.

This offering is for the Nostalgic “The Palace Theatre” which is reminiscent of a classic, hand painted village building. The Theater piece was Introduced in 1987 and soon retired in 1989. “The Nutcracker” is posted on the billboard sign on the theatre in front of each ticket window. There is a large letter “P” is at the top of the building to signify Palace. You will also see there are two theatre masks along the top of the building as decoration. This building piece is in great condition especially for it’s age. A light cord and bulb are included to illuminate the theater in your Village. It comes in it’s original box but box does have some wear. The theater is not damaged. There are a few pieces of packing foam on the building in the pictures. This comes from a pet free / smoke free home. Thank you for looking.
