Up for your consideration is. Department 56 Christmas in the City. #58953 building called “LAFAYETTE’S BAKERY”. In the city, cakes and pies are ordered for special occasions more than any other desserts. The wedding cake in the display window is one of Lafayette’s most popular special orders. The first floor houses the bakery while White Swan catering services is on the second floor. I love the 3-D window scene which features a wedding cake along with other baked goods. The building measures 4.5″ x 5″ x 9. It comes in its original styrofoam box with light cord and Dept. 56 sleeve which does show a little wear. The building is brand new and has never been displayed.
