Up for sale is this beautiful gently predisplayed Department 56 Empire State Building house. It is just gorgeous! No chips or cracks. The box has some signs of wear. Overall it looks good! The top part comes off and looks like it just sits on there. I would have thought they would have attached it better somehow? It lights up and the colors can be switched. It is brushed with a silver color to make it reflect the light just right. It has a little rough spot on one corner. I think it may just be how the plastic part came out of the mold when it was made. The lights in the inside is supposed to light up as well. But I could not get it to work. So it may need a new main light inside? I tried one other bulb, but it didn’t work. Overall still beautiful with only the top lit! I thought I had only 3 flags at first, but then found the 4th! So there IS all 4 flags. Instead of reopening the box and unpacking it I put the last flag inside an yellow envelope in the top of the box.
